The Dominion Mandate.
In the year 1986 God spoke to his servant, Bishop John Praise Daniel,and said “go raise me a people of power. A people that will bear and rule over the kingdom of darkness, for my people have walk to long as nonentities and as a second class citizen.
Therefore go, teach them the word of Faith and Dominion, so as they may walk as Kings and Priest here on earth Revelation 5:10, being absolutely in charge and in control of all situations in their lives, in fulfillment of God’s purpose of creating them in his image likeness’ Genesis 1;26

From the gathering of two or three which started as a bible club in Bwari, a suburb of Abuja metropolis in 1987,the church has grown and it keeps growing by day in thousand. From the Bwari venue of the meeting of the bible club, D.C.I.C has spread to major cities and nation around the world.
THE JOURNEY SINCE 1989
Like the Biblical mustard,Dominion Chapel International Churches D.C.I.C. has grown phenomenally from days of humble beginning 30 years ago. From the gathering of two or three which started as a Bible Study in Bwari, a suburb of Abuja metropolis in 1987, the Church has grown and it keeps growing by day in thousand. From the Bwari venue of the meeting of the Bible Study, D.C.I.C has spread to major Cities and Nations around the world.
Brother John Praise,as he was call then, had received a vision in 1986 concerning the ministry before he went on the National Youth Service. The lord had spoken to his servant to go raise for him a people of power,people that will bear and rule over the kingdom of darkness.The lord said further to Bishop John Praise to go and;teach the people the word of dominion,so that they may walk as Kings and Priest here on earth and be absolutely in charge and in control of situation in their lives, in the fulfilmentof God’s purpose for creating them in his image and likeness’ Genesis 1:26. And that has become the Dominion Mandate.
In 1988, after the service year,he went to Bwari and with his wife,Hope continue with the Bible Study which has now graduated to a Ministry.
Then in January 1989 the Kubwa Branch of the Ministry started in an uncompleted building and on 26thMarch 1989,brother John was ordained a Pastor at Living Faith Church, Kaduna by Bishop David Oyedebo. Shortly after his ordination, precisely on 10th April 1989 the Garki Church started.
On December 2,1989 Dominion Chapel was officially inaugurated at the old parade ground Abuja. The Churh had been holding service on Sundays under the Nicon bridge situated after Area 10 NEPA Oftice, before Bolingo hotel and Church was know more as the under bridge Church. While Preaching, at times the construction tractor, Fulani cattle men will graze pass with animals during service and it was at the sight worship will be going under bridge. Dominion Chapel move from under the Nicon bridge to today’s Church Village in Garki Area 1, where a pencil Church was build by all the members with the Pastor and every one carrying mud block on the head. Dod later provided land for permanent site of the Church known today as the Dominion Villa.
The Faithfulness of God continued to spread even as God’s servant was honoured with a Doctorate degree in 1995 by ArchBishop Idahosa who also consecrated a Bishop on 8th, June,1997. Ten years after inauguration, precisely in November 1999,the Church moves Dominion Villa which currently host the International Headquarters. Today, the Church was under the bridge has advanced not in physical size but spiritually too. Dominion Chapel become a household name in Abuja and beyond.
The message of Dominion continued to grow and God’s people began to charge over every situation in lives.
The ministry is blessed with crop of seasoned and dedicated Pastors with National Headquarters based in Kubwa and headed by Bishop S.J Wakili Power. The church has continued experience break through and great supernatural manifestations with over 50 branches within and outside the country. The church has branches in London,United states America,Liberia,Kenya,Cameroun,Uganda, Pakistan and South Africa and it has not has not stopped growing. In the area of evangelism the church recently intensified her evangelistic activities villages especially the surrounding hilly areas of the Federal Capital Territory and who probably would not have heard the good news are beginning to surrender their lives to lord Jesus Christ and are growing spiritually by the day.
The ministry runs Bible School known as Dominion Bible Faith Institute D.O.B.F.I and an Apostolic outreach, ohn praise world outreach J.O.P.W.O the ministry also hosts a school ministries-international leadership conferences of ministries I.L.C.O.M. where the ministers god from different denominations meet once every month for the supernatural impartation. Under john praise world outreach, a school of deliverance, the weapons of influence school of deliverance which holds every undeveloped Thursday morning came into being.Through the John Praise World outreach.
By the use of the cable and its regular television network for the transmission of the gospel. The church has hosted several powerful international guest speakers from all continents of the world and also contributed immensely to the spiritual life of this country and beyond.
Recently, an all night yearly programme of Praises and Worship, Festival of Music International F.O.M.I started. Its holds every September as an all night programme to usher in the Nation’s into the 1st day of October, being the anniversary of the country’s independence from the British Government. Several editions of F.O.M.I are held every year. This event is very significant in that its prepared the nation her jubilee as the Holy Bible commands =count off seven Sabbaths of year-seven times seven year-so that the seven Sabbaths of year s amount to a period of forty nine years.
